Post Office Clerk

We are looking for our next great team member fill the role of Post Office Clerk reporting to the Manager on duty in the Pharmaceutical Industry. This position is responsible for all mail, operational and customer service related functions at the location. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in company processes of receiving & sorting/organizing mail items, customer relations, loss prevention and health and safety initiatives. This individual will be resourceful, independent, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Sort, organize incoming mail while entering information into database; maintain service area.
Provide excellent customer service to the public in accordance with company policy.
Answer inquiries, resolve customer complaints regarding postal service.
Uphold company standards of excellence and perform multiple functions simultaneously.
Maintain security (cash, register and mail) and all health and safety regulations.
Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required.
1 year of experience in a related position.
Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills.
Reliable and able to prioritize, manage time efficiently.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Ability to lift (up to) 50lbs.
Flexibility in schedule (some evenings and weekends required).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Valid driver’s license.
