Business Analyst
Winnipeg, MB
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team in Winnipeg. As a Business Analyst, you will provide accurate and sound financial and business analysis on assigned projects in a timely manner. Acting as an interface between important stakeholders, you will work on projects that involve growing and/or developing existing business units as well as identifying and/or analyzing new investment opportunities. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable/practiced working in a fast-paced atmosphere, has strong analytical skills and the ability to make critical decisions/recommendations.
Key Duties:
- Conduct analysis and forecasting of expected business unit performance under various scenarios and base assumptions
- Perform business research, developing considerations/conclusions, and providing options and recommendations in accordance with the strategic goals of the company
- Prepare financial modeling of future investment, business and/or acquisition opportunities
- Develop marketing materials and programs, pursuing new markets
- Identify areas for improvement in all business functions
- Report and prepare presentations on project work for internal & external audiences
- Assist the unit with researching, writing and presenting information for the website, press, advertising and promotions and other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ related experience
- A Degree/Diploma in Business (Business Administration, B.Comm)
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities at the same time
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software products
- Strong project management and presentation skills
- Demonstrated writing and interpersonal skills
